Due to COVID-19 all sport was cancelled in South Africa. This created a huge problem for players and coaches alike as they were reliant on their training money to survive – most of them do not have any form of income. The foundation managed to secure a small donation which went towards the girls. The foundation was able to pay each player (30 players) R300.00 (21 USD) a month for nine months. Unfortunately, we only managed to secure enough funding to help one team (Croesus Ladies) out of the 144 teams that play in the Sasol league within South Africa.
