My African World Foundation partners with Teba Fund Trust in supporting rural schools’ development and initiatives in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa.

Teba Fund Trust recognised the massive deficit and inequality in education between urban and rural schools and with its partners focuses on narrowing this deficit.

My African World Foundation was instrumental in the shipping, clearing and distribution of educational resource materials donated by Africa Children’s Fellowship, New York.

More than 300 tons of books were donated to 200 rural junior, primary, and secondary schools. These schools have managed to build their own libraries, which previously were non-existent and now over 90 000 students, as well as teachers and surrounding areas have access to these books.

The 2018 end of year school results in the Eastern Cape improved due to this wonderful initiative.

There is still a need to build classrooms, as well as for sanitation, water and other much needed amenities. The objective is to create and maintain a conducive environment for learning.
