During the 2020 COVID lockdown, the foundation arranged with Kika from Escapades in Africa and Vice President Paula Franco from the Portuguese Forum to provide food parcels to our lady’s soccer team. These two wonderful ladies arrived at our grounds to deliver and hand each player a huge food parcel. It was an incredibly stressful time, but Paula and Kika made it a very memorable occasion by helping the girls and their families in such desperate times. This was a huge charitable gesture from both magnificent ladies. Mrs Franco was also the coordinator of the food drive with Social Development, which is the South African government’s organisation that deals with social upliftment.
