Thepiso Mokabane goes to Slovakia to play professional soccer

The foundation was one of the first to send women soccer players overseas whereby we arranged the funding for them.

We assisted two players by sending them abroad to play on a two-year contract for FC Union Nove Zamky, Slovakia who play in the UEFA Women’s Champions League and the ladies also had an opportunity to play in the Cyprus Women’s Cup.

These ladies were the bread winners and were supporting their families while away in Slovakia. This project allowed the ladies on their return to South Africa to purchase their first homes for them and their families.
